Carmelo Anthony vs. Kevin Garnett

There are definitely going to be some suspensions handed down after this one. Additionally, following the Knicks loss, Carmelo apparently went after Kevin Garnett outside the Celtics locker room and team bus. Anthony is typically known as a laid-back player, but he has been in one of these kind of incidents before when he was majorly involved in the Knicks-Nuggets brawl (back then he was with Denver) in late 2006. Garnett seems to get into it with a different player every game, so this is not really anything new for him. He has a habit of trying to get under the skin of opposing players to give his team a psychological advantage on the floor. I suppose it did work last night considering the Celtics won the game. Still I expect fines and suspensions of anywhere between one and five games for both players involved. Read more

Cheap Shot from Dwyane Wade to Ramon Sessions

Pretty dirty shot to the groin from Dwyane Wade right here. The league decided to (and rightfully so) pass judgement and give him a one game suspension. That suspension hurt the Heat more than expected, as they fell to the Detroit Pistons on the road in Wade's absence.
